She graduated from the University of Texas with a BS in Geosystems Engineering and Hydrogeology. She has worked in a variety of roles including production, reservoir and completions engineering and is currently a consulting reservoir engineer..
Vice President Tracy Lenz
Tracy Lenz is owner and engineer at Pecan Tree Oil & Gas and provides appraisal and consulting for mineral owners. Prior, she was with Jones Energy for eight years and served as their reserves engineer then asset manager, and a with Chevron for five years in Midland, TX, and Lafayette, LA. Tracy grew up in Round Rock and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Texas, a Master’s of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California, is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, and a Certified Mineral Appraiser.
Treasurer Lynne Fowler
Lynne Fowler, CFA is Principal of Astera Group which offers strategy and financial consulting as well as insights into energy commodity markets. Previously, she managed a global infrastructure portfolio for the Texas state pension exposing her to global energy policy and renewable energy. She began her energy career as an oil and gas banker at ING Barings.
SECRETARY AMY KYRISH
Amy Kyrish is owner of Warm Hearts Land, LLC. Amy graduated from Texas Tech University in 2005 and attended Texas Tech Law School in 2006. After completing a year of law school, she went on to work in the energy industry as a land agent. She now has over 12 years of experience related to the energy industry covering a broad range of experience in oil & gas, wind and right-of-way work. For the past several years she has worked for a large-scale oil & gas operator with assets held in Texas and Oklahoma working with the Division Order team,
Administrative Chair Ashley Phillips
Ashley T.K. Phillips is a Partner in the Austin Office of Thompson & Knight LLP. She provides legal counsel to clients on environmental compliance matters; environmental management system development; environmental, health, and safety auditing; environmental risk assessment; environmental matters in corporate and commercial transactions; and administrative enforcement actions by federal, state, and local environmental regulatory agencies. Ashley also currently serves on the Advisory Council of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Energy, Law & Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
SOCIAL CHAIR Haley Clarkson
Haley joined the AWOG board in 2021. She started her career at Southern Company as a financial analyst, and followed up her experience in the utility industry with a move to oil and gas, working at Enterprise Products in the commercial asset management group, where she handled business development and asset management. Haley earned her MBA from the University of Texas in 2020. Haley also has a BBA in Finance and BBA in Art History from the University of Georgia. She currently works as the project coordinator for Solar Proponent.
Senior Advisor Becca Andrew
Becca Andrew is a UT Petroleum Engineering alumna currently working as a Project Manager for NI. Prior to NI she was an engineer for Jones Energy for six years, Becca has also worked at Shell in Denver and Houston as a Reservoir Engineer. She’s passionate about growing AWOG’s membership and maintaining AWOG as a welcoming community for women in oil & gas in the Austin area. Outside of work, Becca plays and coaches water polo and is a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
